Zuo Yi born on September 12, 1998, in Hengyang, Hunan Province, also known as Zoe Yi, is a versatile Chinese actress and artist who began her career in 2016 and is known for roles in dramas such as Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace, Fights Break Sphere, and Joy of Life. Demonstrated a passion for the arts from a young age, studying painting for 15 years. During the period of preparing for art college entrance exams, a friend persuaded her to take a performance (acting) exam, which sparked her interest in acting. She then enrolled in a crash course and successfully gained admission to the Shanghai Theatre Academy, one of China’s top performing arts schools, where she majored in acting. In October 2015, as a freshman, Liu appeared on the reality show Freshman University Season (一年级·大学季), marking her first public exposure.
Liu Meitong made her acting debut in 2016 with the drama Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace, portraying Bai Er Ge Si / Consort Ke, which established her presence in the entertainment industry.
