Yu Yin officially debuted as an actress in 2022 with her appearance in the short drama His Little Heat. She achieved massive breakout recognition in August 2023 for her lead role as the mute character Jiang Lan in the viral micro-drama Abusive Love Becomes Favor: President Lu's New Mute Wife , in which she participated, was released; she played the role of Jiang Lan in the series, gaining recognition from the audience for this role. In the same year, the short drama After Divorce, She Astonishes the World, in which she participated, was released.
