Wang Churan was born on January 21, 1999, in Shanghai, China. She is an only child and grew up in a supportive family environment. Wang is of Han Chinese ethnicity and practices Buddhism. She developed an early interest in performing arts and was admitted to the Shanghai Theatre Academy, one of China’s top acting schools, where she honed her acting skills and received rigorous training.
