Guo Yuxin was born on July 16, 1999, into an ordinary family in Shenyang, Liaoning. In junior high school, she loved reading romance novels, endlessly imagining the scenes and plots in her mind, and would hide under the covers, her face flushed from reading. In 2017, she was admitted to the undergraduate program in the Department of Theatre Education at the Central Academy of Drama. After graduation, Guo Yuxin struggled on her own in Beijing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, with no work, she considered giving up on entering the entertainment industry and prepared to take the postgraduate entrance exam to change careers and become a teacher, even starting to memorize vocabulary for the exam. However, an invitation from a senior to perform in a stage play changed her mind. After performing in the play, she unexpectedly received an offer for a short drama. To pay her rent, she decided to pivot to the short drama track. This choice not only provided her with financial security but also helped her find a new direction on her acting path. Guo Yuxin likes to get out and explore, to stroll around, experiencing different environments and going to the seashore to find inner peace. When feeling truly in need of emotional recharge, she goes home to visit her parents. Guo Yuxin has a very sweet smile and is a hidden gem of an actress.
In July 2022, she made her debut by appearing in the suspense short drama Goddess Hotel; in December of the same year, she starred in the sci-fi romance web drama Go to Your World and Love Me Again. In 2023, she made guest appearances in series such as Till The End of The Moon, Tiger Crane, and A Journey To Love. In March 2024, the period fantasy drama Burning Flames, in which she appeared, began airing; in April, the urban emotional drama Best Choice Ever, in which she made a guest appearance, began airing; in August, the short drama Rich Family Baby Binds a Daddy to Pamper Mommy, in which she starred, began airing; in September, the short drama Lock Spring Night, in which she starred, began airing; in October, the short drama Zhao Zhao Special Honor, in which she starred, began airing; also in October, she was selected for the 2024 Hengdian Film Festival and the 10th Wenrong Award Young Actor Support Program; in the same year, she participated in the touring performance of the music poetry drama The Feast of Life, portraying the roles of Wang Fu, Wang Zhaoyun, and the Chorus. In March 2025, the short drama Confession Rejected! So What! Got Married!, starring her alongside Shen Haonan, began airing; in August, the sweet pet short drama National Husband Take Home, starring her alongside Ben, began airing; in September, the short drama Summer Fendila, starring her alongside Liu Xiaoxu, began airing, setting a record for the fastest to exceed 3 billion views, and she won the "Annual Influence Shining Actress Award" at the Hengdian Micro-Short Drama Night for this drama; in the same year, the vertical micro-short dramas Northeast Love Story: Flash Marriage Rose, In the Midsummer of August, and We Grow Wild, in which she starred, were successively broadcast, with all three dramas exceeding 1 billion views on the Hongguo Play Platform; at the end of November, she received the "Annual Outstanding Actor Award" at the 2025 Hongguo Creators Conference Liuguang Ceremony.
